Com o crescimento dos negócios de maneira global, será inevitável que as start-ups brasileiras saibam explicar o que fazem em inglês.

Veja alguns exemplos de vocabulário relacionado a start-ups e inovação.

A: I am looking at our budget and we have to decide if we will go with an angel investor or bootstrap it.

A: Estou dando uma olhada em nosso orçamento e teremos que decidir se optaremos por um investidor-anjo ou se daremos início sem investimento externo.

B: To get an angel investor we will really need to have a well defined market niche. But I am sure we will get someone like a venture capitalist to throw some money into this because I am sure we are going to crush it.

B: Para termos um investidor-anjo precisaremos ter um nicho de mercado definido. Estou certo que conseguiremos alguém como um investidor de risco para colocar algum dinheiro nisto, porque sei que iremos arrebentar.

A: We have to get this going soon so we can monetize on the market. We also have to make sure we know what product we want to focus on so we don´t have to pivot too quickly and change directions.

A: Temos que colocar isso para funcionar porque temos que rentabilizar no mercado. Temos também que conhecer bem o produto no qual queremos focar para que não tenhamos que mudar a estratégia da empresa e a direção rapidamente.

B: If we get in quickly we will be a first mover on this. Let´s brainstorm on how we will pitch this to an investor. Let´s also think of what the cost of the start-up capital will be.

B: Mas se formos rápidos sairemos em vantagem. Vamos pensar em como vender esta ideia a um investidor. Vamos também pensar sobre o custo do capital inicial.
